She credits her success to the fact that her program not only offers proper dance training, but also teaches many important life lessons including integrity, commitment, professionalism, teamwork and personal success. Her positive and motivational teaching style ensures that her students move on with gained Self-Esteem, Self-Confidence and the strong belief that they "REALLY CAN DO ANYTHING".  Heather has been living out the Xtreme Motto "Dream, Believe, Create" as she has now opened the "XTREME DANCE TRAINING CENTER" in July 2006 and was recently chosen along with nine others from all over the U.S as one of the "Outstanding Coaches of the year" from Dance Spirit Magazine.

Matt Gutierrez

Matt "G.roove" Gutierrez was first inspired to dance in 1998 , after watching Usher and Michael Jackson music videos on TV. He started out break dancing back in middle school all the way up until the end of high school. Thereafter he broke into hip hop choreography and joined a dance team based out of UC Irvine in 2004 called Common Ground and has been dancing with the team ever since. In March of 2007, Underground dance team (dancers ranging from 12 to 18 y.o.) was established, the junior team to CG. Appointed to co-direct with Karen Mondok, UG has given him a lot artistic opportunities to choreograph as well as further develop his leadership skills. In June of 2007, Matt was signed to DDO talent agency based in Los Angeles. Over the summer of that year, he also auditioned for Mavyn Entertainment and has had the privilege to train & perform with the company.  Currently Matt is in his second year with Mavyn, while leading Underground as their head choreographer. Just recently, he and Paul Jucaban, a close friend and fellow dancer, started their own side project called "M-A-P," to further showcase their choreography as individuals while inviting friends representing other teams such as Kaba Modern, Team Millennia, and many more to perform and just have fun. Just last year they entered their first project ever at Jayvee's Maxt Out dance competition, where they took 2nd place in the major division preliminaries. Matt hopes to truly make a break in the industry through DDO and make dance a serious career. In the mean time, he enjoys teaching to those who are passionate and are willing to have fun while training and performing with his dance companies. Be sure to sign up and take class with him as he guarantees something different but fun and refreshing- "I wouldn't call what I do just 'hip hop,' I'm influenced by many styles of dance and try to combine them to put art into motion."

Matt will be teaching BOYS hip hop in the summer and HIP HOP 2 on monday nights from 6:15-7:15pm!
